22nd August, 2016, the weather being clear, gentle breeze swaying our faces, we felt relaxed and joyous. New students in Grade 10, who watched the patriotic film ‘Hundred-Regiment Campaign’ the night before, greeted their second day of military training session.
The contents of today’s tasks were quite plentiful. Initially, at 8.30 A.M. students toured Anqing Foreign Language School’s History Museum to have a more comprehensive understanding on the development of our school. They were full of praise towards the swift and high-quality progress that Anqing Foreign Language School has made.
Additionally, students learned how to stand like soldiers, stand at attention, straddle, stand at ease, march at ease as well as the segments of quick march, which students reviewed in the afternoon.
Moreover, students acquired the segments of parade steps. Although sweat poured down from their faces, students feared neither hardship nor tiredness. At 4.30 P.M. under the instruction of the armed police, students obtained the knowledge of fire protection manoeuvre.
To conclude, at 7.30 P.M. at the Lecture Hall of the administration building, students listened to the lecture entitled ‘Laws Around Us’ conducted by Sergeant Wang Ke with Lao Feng local police station.
